Reading The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones gave teens the opportunity to discuss philosophy, alternative beliefs, runes, and other cultural symbols. They also worked together to make a board game based off Maze Runner, created a stop motion video inspired by a scene from Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, and worked with a local photographer to document themselves after reading the sequel, Hollow City.
