PA Humanities is excited to announce the launch of the Rain Poetry Toolkit, a free resource designed to help communities across Pennsylvania bring the joy of water-activated poetry to their streets and public spaces.
Developed from the creativity and dedication of past Rain Poetry host sites, poets, and teachers, the toolkit features photos, insights, and step-by-step guidance to make it easy for schools, libraries, arts organizations, and community groups to create their own installations.
To help even more communities take part, PA Humanities is also launching a new Rain Poetry grant opportunity on October 15. Grants will provide support for projects that use the Rain Poetry framework to inspire creativity, foster community pride, and highlight local voices. This opportunity is open to schools, libraries, arts groups, and community organizations across Pennsylvania interested in bringing Rain Poetry to life in their own neighborhoods. Deadline: December 4, 2025.
An informational webinar will be held on November 6 at 12:00 p.m. to provide a behind-the-scenes look at Rain Poetry, preview the toolkit, and share details on how to apply for funding.
