Katie Jean, a native of Upstate New York, started her career in marketing after earning a Business Administration degree from SUNY Albany. Discovering a passion for project management, she transitioned into operational roles in sectors such as e-commerce, finance, and real estate. Katie is dedicated to equitable community development and has collaborated with local entrepreneurs, artists, and small businesses, assisting them in building solid business foundations, and offering guidance in financial management and operational processes. Since moving to Philadelphia in 2017, she became deeply involved with the Craft Supply Chest, an organization that provides affordable art workshops, where she plays an active role as a volunteer, organizer, and facilitator.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Katie has a profound appreciation for libraries, especially the Philadelphia Free Library. You might find her there juggling a mix of cookbooks, art/design reads, and her current novel of interest.
