Jessica Herzing is a grassroots movement veteran and a passionate advocate for resident inclusion in civic and community development planning processes. As the project coordinator of the Cameron County Project, she led a team of volunteers to champion the Community Heart and Soul message in Pennsylvania’s smallest per capita county, resulting in tangible resident-led change initiatives and increased community morale. In her professional life, Jessica boasts over nine years of experience as a managerial accountant, serving local businesses, nonprofits, and governmental agencies. Her expertise lies in regulatory reporting, audit compliance, and tailoring fund accounting systems to enhance financial reporting, grant administration, budget preparation, and strategic business governance.
Jessica was elected to the Board of Cameron County Commissioners, in November 2023, to serve Cameron County for the term of 2024 to 2027.
