Jacqueline Penrod is an Associate Professor at Peirce College. Previously she practiced as an attorney at the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies. A graduate of the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Temple Law Review during the 2001-2002 academic year and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Gene E K Pratter in the United States Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from 2004 until 2006. In addition to teaching and her legal practice, Ms. Penrod serves as a writer for the Queen Village Neighbors Association Magazine, documenting the interesting life stories of Queen Village residents. She is also working to construct an approach to introduce mindfulness meditation concepts and practices to elementary and middle-school aged children. Ms. Penrod enjoys practicing yoga and taking frequent runs throughout the city. She lives in the Queen Village neighborhood of Philadelphia with her husband and two daughters.
